Franklin Tech is pleased to offer online registration for it's classes. We offer many lifelong learning opportunities and activities for inquisitive people of all ages. Whether training for a job or career or for personal enrichment, there are a variety of classes just waiting for you!

Registration is Easy!

 

You may securely register online by using your Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card for payment. Just select the class or classes you want to register for then make your payment...it's that easy. If you prefer to pay by another method or in person you may visit our Community Education office at 2020 Iowa Street in Joplin.

Featured Events
Phlebotomy Technician

Students will learn to perform venipunctures, blood collection, biohazard exposure, finger sticks and more. Course will include basic anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, EKG applications, vital signs, death and dying and laboratory specimens. Students must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or GED, and provide copy of T.B. test current within six months of start of class. Book fee is included in tuition. Payment option is available for this class with in-person enrollment.

Phlebotomy Technician

Certified Nurses Assistant

Successful completion of this 75 classroom and 100 clinical  hour course meets the requirements for students to sit for the Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant examination. Students must provide a copy of current Tuberculosis test and register on the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry (form for registry will be provided at first class). Book fee is included.  Examination fees are extra and are to be paid to the examiner. Payment plan is available for this class.

GED Preparation Classes

It's never too late to graduate! We can help you prepare to take the GED exam by determining levels of your present skills and what preparation you'll need to be ready for the exam. Students will learn to operate the scientific calculator used on the GED test. Study and be tested on any or all of the subject areas covered on the exam including reading, writing, math, social studies, and science.
